I started the Hair & Beauty Tour as a licensed cosmetologist and instructor. I took SCORE workshops to understand how to set up a business, structure pricing, and build a brand. I created my first pricing sheet by studying top salons and positioning myself as a premium service provider.
My salon journey includes hosting grooming events, exhibiting at expos, and collaborating with makeup artists. I’ve built an engaged audience across social platforms — 7790 Instagram followers and over 3300+ followers across Google and Facebook with 5-star reviews.
I’ve hosted Diwali Ball events, exhibited at Diwali Expo, and run DIY carnivals and lucky draws to attract new clients. My clients include brides, regular salon customers, and students from my BASH (Bridal and Special Occasion Hairstyling) program. I maintain client feedback, before/after photos, and create monthly content calendars for marketing.
I’ve collaborated with makeup artists like Arianna Scott and Carissa Blossom on bridal projects, invested heavily in professional tools and products, and use platforms like BehindTheChair.com to stay updated. I also created bi-fold pricing sheets and have consistently enhanced my brand visibility.

La Vivo Cosmetics
La Vivo Cosmetics is my entrepreneurial venture in the beauty product industry. I co-founded it with Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan in India, conceptualizing the brand to focus on single-use, hygienic facial kits — even before the COVID era made hygiene a top concern.
I was deeply involved in everything — from studying cosmetic ingredients and working with our expert pharmacist Mr. Tapan, to asking technical formulation questions and sourcing quality raw materials. I used my science background to understand ingredient behavior and chemical composition.
My main contribution was in packaging and branding. I visited bottle factories, designed labels, managed cost-versus-quality decisions, and collaborated with designers to finalize branding that aligned with our positioning. I developed brochures, product manuals, and “how to use” guides — even creating video tutorials and salon staff training materials.
Our products are branded in top salons across India, with customized artwork and vinyl or sunboard posters for each client salon. I also managed the procurement of mannequin heads for both training and resale.
In exhibitions, I designed our stall layouts and promoted both our cosmetics and salon education packages. I created structured packages for salons and trained distributors across India. I even handled shipments, optimized packaging, and maintained invoices for bulk orders to cities like Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, and Delhi.

Exclusive Salon & Academy
This part of my journey is covered under the Education section as it primarily focuses on in-person training and programs conducted under the PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) scheme.
At the Exclusive Salon & Academy, I provided practical, professional-level hairstyling and beauty training. This included hands-on sessions using mannequins and real clients, and advanced certification programs. My academy served as both a learning center and a live salon, giving students real-time industry exposure.
